The City of Bulawayo has Sister City relations with a number of Cities in the world and also has Memoranda of Understanding for the development of sister city partnerships. The role of the sister city programme is to promote Bulawayo as an investment destination and promotion of the City in the international local government fora. The aim is to develop global partnerships that allow for the sharing of expertise in local governance, development and strategic international relations for Bulawayo’s growth. As an international player in local governance, the City of Bulawayo continues to cherish and explore City diplomacy for sharing of best practices, collaboration and overall development of Bulawayo.
