DOOR TO DOOR AND TRAFFIC SURVEYS FOR THE REVIEW OF THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN NUMBER 8 (INDUSTRIAL AREAS).
The City of Bulawayo would like to advise members of the public that we are currently reviewing the Local Development Plan 8 (Industrial Areas) in terms of the Regional, Town, Country and Planning Act Chapter 29 :12 section 17 (1) read along with section 18(1).
As per regulations of Section 18(1) of the Regional, Town and Country Planning Act, 1976 as read with Section 18(1) of the Regional, Town and Country Planning (Master and Local Plans) Regulations 1977, please note that our data collection team will be conducting door to door and traffic survey visits in the Industrial areas of Bulawayo.
The Door to Door Survey will be conducted during business hours whilst traffic surveys may require the Survey Teams to stand and observe traffic flows at major roads in the study area from 6am to 7pm. These surveys will commence on the 10th January 2022 to the 21st January 2022.
Below are the Industrial Areas in concern.
You are cordially requested to assist Municipal Staff with the relevant information and help them fill questionnaire in-hand. Your co-operation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
Industrialists are advised that Municipal Staff who will be conducting this exercise will be identified by a City of Bulawayo identification card and or regalia. (Sample below).
