48 HOUR WATER SUPPLY RESTORATION PROGRAMME

The City of Bulawayo continues to work on the Clearwater-Pumps that got affected by a power-surge which occurred at Ncema Waterworks a month ago resulting in reduced water supply to areas fed from the Tuli reservoir.

This is work in progress and meanwhile, due to the inter-connectedness of the Tuli and 6J reservoirs, in order to balance Water Supply volumes against demand, there will be a 48-Hour shedding introduced to areas fed from the two reservoirs, up until the situation improves.


However, since Rifle Range is supplied from 6J, it will also be shedded under the same regime to balance the water network in the three (3) reservoir zones. In that regard, the 48-hour shedding regime will be as follows:
