WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTIONS

WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTIONS FOR AREAS FED BY TULI HILL RESERVOIR.

The City of Bulawayo would like to advise members of the public that there will be an interruption in water supply to areas fed by Tuli Hill Reservoir from Monday, 21st June 2021 to Friday, 25th June 2021.

The City of Bulawayo will be carrying out civil work inspections on the cracked Ncema Clear Water Reservoir from which the Tuli reservoir is fed from.

Water supplies are expected to be restored to the affected suburbs fed on Friday, 25th June 2021 at 17:30hrs following the completion of the inspections at Ncema and resumption of pumping.

Areas supplied by the Tuli Hill Reservoir are as follows;

Esigodini, Lookout Masuku Barracks, Fortunes gate, Selborne Park, Matsheumhlope, Parklands, Khumalo, Queenspark, Suburbs, Mahatshula, Woodville, Kingsdale, Lochview, Sunninghill, Marlands, Glencoe, Riverside, Waterford, Manningdale, Willsgrove, Buenavista, Douglasdale.

Residents are advised to conserve water accordingly and ensure that taps remain closed in-case of earlier restoration of water supplies.

Bulawayo City Council wishes to apologise to its valued consumers for the inconvenience likely to be caused.
