The Section conducts staff competency mapping for BCC through a Training Needs Analysis to design and develop internal training and development programmes and manuals. Facilitation is internal and out-sourced where training expertise is not available internally. The section evaluates the training programmes and recommends appropriate remedial action to departments to cover staff performance gaps. The section also receives and facilitates the approval for post-entry study programmes for staff pursuing further studies to enhance their academic and professional qualifications. Applications to conduct research within BCC and greater Bulawayo by college/university students and any such organisations are approved through this section.
