NOTICE OF A SURVEY TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN 12 (SUBJECT AREA: BELLEVUE/NEWTON//NEWTON WEST/WEST SOMERTON/ELEONA/HILLSIDE WEST).
The City of Bulawayo would like to advise members of the public and other stakeholders affected, that the City will be carrying out surveys within the subject area (Bellevue/Newton//Newton West/West Somerton/Eloana /Hillside West), from Monday, 27th November 2023 to Wednesday, 6th December 2023.
The types of surveys to be carried out will be:-
This information will be used create a data base that will help the City to formulate a Local Development Plan in terms of Section 17 of the Regional Town and Country Planning Act 29:12 of 1996 which will promote a harmonious and well-coordinated development within the study area.
Members of the public are advised that Municipal Staff and Students who will be conducting this exercise will be identifiable by a City of Bulawayo identification card or a stamped Council authorization letter. Sample below).
You are kindly requested to supply the survey team with the relevant information. Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
